Our team
Anthony Messina, PA-C, is an NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant at Mood Institute beginning May 2026. He supports psychiatric assessments, psychotropic management within collaborative practice, and SPRAVATO® and ketamine visit monitoring, plus backup rater work as delegated. He also practices as a neurology PA at Yale New Haven Health and previously served as a firefighter and EMT.
Anthony Messina, PA-C, joined Mood Institute in May 2026 to support psychiatric assessments and psychotropic medication management within collaborative practice. He also monitors SPRAVATO® and ketamine treatment visits alongside the physician team in Milford and Southport, CT.
On the research side, he serves as a clinical provider and backup rater as delegated, supporting safety documentation and protocol-based outcome measures. He continues work as a general neurology PA at Yale New Haven Health and previously served as a firefighter and EMT.
Clinical decision-making remains with the licensed care team and applicable collaboration requirements.
