In-clinic esketamine (SPRAVATO®) procedure education

SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for certain adults with treatment-resistant depression. Public labeling describes use as monotherapy or with an oral antidepressant, under a restricted distribution program and clinical supervision requirements.

Treatment takes place under supervision in a certified healthcare setting with required monitoring. Useful questions include what happens during a visit, how long you should plan to be at the clinic, and what records the clinician will need to review.

A clinician can discuss whether SPRAVATO® fits your history and what alternatives may also be relevant.
