Our team
Casey Burns is Clinical Research Coordinator at Mood Institute in Milford and Southport, Connecticut. She coordinates participant-facing research operations, screening workflows, visit tracking, and documentation for treatment-resistant depression studies. She previously served as Practice Administrator (June 2023–June 2025) and is completing an M.S. in Clinical Counseling at Albertus Magnus College.
Casey Burns coordinates clinical research activities at Mood Institute, focused on treatment-resistant depression and interventional psychiatry studies across the Milford and Southport, Connecticut locations.
As Clinical Research Coordinator since June 2025, she supports participant communication, screening workflows, study-visit tracking, REDCap and source documentation, and protocol-aligned records. She previously served as Practice Administrator from June 2023 to June 2025, which informs how she coordinates across clinical, research, and administrative teams.
She is completing a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling at Albertus Magnus College (expected May 2027) and provides supervised counseling as a Clinical Counseling Intern at Albertus Magnus Counseling Center—not at Mood Institute.
